Martin Messent

Martin's output includes essays, short stories, poetry, reviews and articles. Being a keen fisherman, walker, naturalist, composer, lover of jazz and collector of vinyl, his words reflect a wide range of concerns and a freewheeling style rooted in both the real and metaphysical. He often writes in essay form and espouses simplicity and ease.

His writing and photography have appeared in Waterlog, Fallon's Angler, Pulp Faction, Carp Catcher, Orbis and Ramraid Extraordinaire, among others, and his blog, Trout Bum Replica, collects essays, reviews, philosophical and psychogeographical explorations and autobiography.
